Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Construction Project Assistant to join our team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the Project Lead during the transition from Buildertrend to our new software, ensuring a seamless shift in project management for our residential construction endeavors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transition Support:

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Lead to facilitate the transition from Buildertrend to the new software.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of a comprehensive plan for transitioning project management tools.

2. Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to the software transition.
  • Develop and organize project documentation, including guides tailored for residential construction processes.

3. Communication:

  • Facilitate effective communication between project team members, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Keep team members informed of project progress, addressing concerns or challenges during the software transition.

4. Task Coordination:

  • Coordinate tasks and activities to ensure the timely completion of project milestones in residential construction projects.
  • Monitor project timelines, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or delays.

5. Training and Support:

  • Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions for team members involved in residential construction projects.
  • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to the new software.

6. Quality Assurance:

  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure the new software aligns with the specific needs of residential construction projects.
  • Report and address any software-related issues promptly.

7. Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports on the status of residential construction projects, key performance indicators, and relevant metrics.
  • Provide insightful analysis to aid decision-making processes within the residential construction context.

8. Ad Hoc Tasks:

  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Lead to contribute to the overall success of residential construction projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in project management or a related role within residential construction.
  • Familiarity with construction project management software, particularly in the residential sector, is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic residential construction environment.
