Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct vendor assessments to evaluate performance, reliability, and adherence to contract terms.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and terms with vendors to secure favorable terms for the organization.
  • Monitor vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Resolve issues and disputes with vendors in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align vendor services accordingly.
  • Conduct regular vendor audits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process optimization in vendor relationships.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to onboard new vendors and integrate them into existing processes.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor management database, tracking key information and contract renewals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and changes in vendor landscape.
  • Provide periodic reports to management on vendor performance, risks, and opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in vendor management or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess vendor performance against predefined metrics.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
  • Familiarity with vendor management software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
